Product Philosophy
Rooted in the honest simplicity of light yellow clay, this piece gives form to the expressive spirit of "ink-wash landscape" painting. By combining carved ceramic texture with silver powder pigmentation, it breaks through the decorative boundaries of traditional tea ware. The generous capacity balances practicality with aesthetics, accommodating all tea types, and invites a sense of ease and poetic warmth into everyday tea rituals — where the raw and the refined collide.
Design Introduction
A wide-mouth, large-capacity gaiwan crafted from carefully selected light yellow clay, coated in a custom black pearl glaze and high-temperature fired to achieve a matte, deep black finish. The body is hand-carved with expressive water-ripple motifs, then layered with silver powder that follows the carved lines in a gradual wash — creating ink-splash-like contrasts of black and white. Every brushstroke reflects the spontaneity and warmth of the maker's hand.
