Product Philosophy
Inspired by Taoist flame motifs, this gaiwan draws on the Eastern philosophy of "purification, clarity, and endless renewal." Through restrained, minimal linework, traditional symbols are reinterpreted to meet contemporary aesthetics.
Design Introduction
The form follows the classic gaiwan silhouette, crafted from zisha (purple clay) and coated in a custom black pearl glaze, fired at 1280°C to achieve a matte, luminous base with a subtle pearlescent quality. The decorative motif is derived from the dynamic lines of Taoist flame imagery, hand-painted in pure silver powder. The silver lines create a quiet interplay of light and shadow against the black glaze, softening the weight of traditional ornamentation.
Includes: Gaiwan( cover bowl ) + Tea cup
